Our system can identify any presence in the room whether they are guests, housekeeping, or any authorized hotel staff via information pulled from the door lock. Our occupancy detection solution is able to know the status of the guests in the room from motion sensors and magnetic door switches.
Energy is only used when necessary. When the room is unoccupied, all lights will be turned off (with a standard delay), and the air conditioning will reset to the preferred temperature. Once the room is occupied again, the room settings are immediately restored and normal operation is resumed.
